3 in a row…another Vendor of Record award by the Ontario Government…

Richmond Hill, Ontario - June 30, 2005

Digitalembrace Inc. has been awarded yet another Vendor of Record (VOR) designation by Management Board Secretariat (MBS). This new VOR designation is for Solutions-Based IT Consulting Services, complementing the Task-Based and Legacy Services VOR awarded earlier this year.

This VOR status award is significant as it enables Digitalembrace to provide a true Solutions-Oriented offering to the OPS. These offerings can be team-based fixed-price solutions, thus minimizing time and cost risks to the Ministries. Digitalembrace will be fully accountable for the Managed-Solution, which can be both time-boxed and cost-boxed, with fixed deliverables. This is contrary to the Task-Based VOR in which the primary measure is traditional Time and Materials. Digitalembrace will be providing these solutions to the Ontario Public Service (OPS) until July, 2008.

Digitalembrace is very excited in this venture as it solidifies them as being one of the predominant IT service providers to the OPS since 2001. This new designation complements Digitalembrace’s existing VOR designations at the Ontario government (Task-Based, Legacy, ESD), City of Toronto, Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA), and Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).
